Robotics Program
Hands-on skills learned in our robust robotics program are transferable to math, ELA, and STEM classrooms. All robotics experiences are designed to align with the existing lessons and meet Indiana State Academic Standards.
Students in grades 3-8 may participate in the VEX IQ Robotics program. Paramount Brookside fields four competitive VEX IQ teams each year. Paramount VEX IQ Teams were selected to participate in VEX IQ Robotics World Championships every year from 2014-2020 and in 2022.
Time and Space Discovery Center
Our Time and Space Discovery Center is a teaching and research space, a Solar System room, and a planetarium with more than three dozen shows in our permanent library. This comprehensive educational experience for youth and adult visitors inspires learning. The center includes:

Scaled replica of the Solar System

Girls IN STEM Academy
There is a large, self-perpetuating gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) jobs. Girls interested in STEM have fewer female role models, and the gender gap is even more pronounced among girls of color.
Girls IN STEM Academy is a new, all-girls public school for grades K-8 opening in 2024 on the north side of Indianapolis. Paramount Schools of Excellence will operate this groundbreaking school in partnership with Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, Every Girl Can STEM™, and Purdue Polytechnic High School.
This new school will allow girls to thrive and excel in a supportive environment as they study STEM and a core curriculum. The enrollment window will open in November 2023.
