To thrive in school — and life — we believe students need unfaltering empathy, structure, and encouragement. Dedicated to providing an environment where children feel safe, secure, and supported, Paramount guides students toward the joy of learning with confidence and excitement.
Using the community school model, we blend academics with a consistent and dedicated community focus to create a culture of connectivity. We strive to anchor the community through fairs, neighborhood cleanups, robotics programs, wind turbines, recycling, composting, and farmer's markets where we sell cheese, honey, and fresh produce grown on our Brookside farm. Because of this involvement, Paramount Schools has been the most impactful, innovative, and interactive educational environment I've ever worked in.

Fun Facts About Me
I began my educational career as a music teacher in 1995 and still compose and record music today. I have composed over 20 children’s musicals (listen here), and have CDs available on iTunes and Amazon. My passion for music and composition has helped me focus Paramount's programming through a creative and innovative lens. Other notable moments in my professional career include:
- Working in public, private, and charter schools
- Playing a role in opening three K-8 charter schools in the U.S.
- Writing school curricula and presenting educational workshops nationwide since 2002
- Publishing an educational book with my daughter Madeline titled The Insane Book of Riddles, Codes, and Secret Math
- Creating an educational backpack program for school readiness
