Learning at Cottage Home extends beyond textbooks and traditional classroom walls. Students connect academic concepts to the real world through STEM, environmental education, technology and hands-on experiences designed to make learning meaningful and memorable.
Through Paramount's Environmental Education program, Cottage Home students visit the Paramount School Farm each quarter. Classroom lessons come to life through gardening, urban agriculture and interaction with dairy goats. The farm includes raised garden beds, an orchard, pollinator garden, greenhouse, outdoor classroom, chicken coop, dairy goat barn, bee apiary and tasting lab.
With 1:1 technology and opportunities such as robotics, students are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, create and discover - building curiosity alongside the academic skills they need for what comes next.

A strong education prepares children for more than the next test. At Cottage Home, students learn to approach challenges with confidence, take responsibility for their choices, work well with others and understand that their actions matter.
Teachers and staff create a structured, supportive environment where students are known, encouraged and held to high expectations. From collaborating in the classroom to caring for animals at the farm, competing on a team or solving a problem in robotics, students have meaningful opportunities to practice perseverance, responsibility, teamwork and leadership.

Cottage Home gives students opportunities to explore interests, build friendships and discover new strengths beyond the school day.
Students can participate in activities including Chess Club and Robotics Club, along with athletic teams such as boys and girls basketball, cross country, soccer, track and field, and volleyball. These experiences give students another place to develop teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship and a sense of belonging.
Whether a student finds their spark through STEM, athletics, environmental learning or a new club, Cottage Home is a school community where children have room to learn, participate and grow.

Paramount Cottage Home is located at 1203 E. St. Clair Street in the heart of Indianapolis' historic Cottage Home neighborhood, just northeast of downtown.
